We’ll create art pieces inspired by works from the collection of di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art and explore various mediums, including collage, pastels, assemblage, and sculpture.
Join us for a hands-on art-making series led by artist Terese Edestam. Each workshop kicks off with a thoughtful conversation about a selected reference artwork, guided by Hugo Corro, the Associate Director of Education at di Rosa. In our this session we'll draw inspiration from Inez Storer's "Revised lives" in oil pastel. How would a person’s life from the past look like today? Using oil pastels, we will create a revised story for them creating a scene/setting in modern time.
This series welcomes everyone, from beginners to seasoned artists. Come ready to explore, create, and share your artistic journey with us.
