Join us for an engaging afternoon event for all.

Enjoy a thought-provoking documentary screening from our Kanopy database, followed by a lively discussion where you can share insights and connect with fellow film enthusiasts.

The Invisible Vegan (2019), directed by Kenny Leyva and Jasmine C. Perry, features interviews with Cedric the Entertainer, John Salley, and Stic of the hip-hop duo Dead Prez. This documentary shows how the intertwined histories of slavery, twentieth-century socioeconomic inequalities, and the rise of Big Food have led to the increased consumption and dependence on meat and processed, junk, and fast food. Rated NR
