About the author:

Dr. Gordon Walker is an award-winning speaker, science communicator, and published author. He has a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from UC Davis, where his research focused on the microbial ecology of wine fermentations, bioprocess control, and yeast genetics. He is a passionate advocate for mushrooms, fungal conservation, and environmental sustainability.
