Join us for a presentation from Mark Stephenson, President of the Napa-Solano Audubon Society.
The birds and wildlife of American Canyon’s shoreline are a draw to visitors from all over the Bay Area. Rare and migratory species bring biodiversity to the estuary wetlands, once the landfill for Napa County. While this land has been transformed for public recreation, it is imperative to protect nearby foraging land and habitat for these animals. Newly proposed industrial parks and residential developments threaten the survival of birds and other wildlife in this region we all hold so dear. Seawater rise also threatens the land and habitat. We need to plan now for a certain future.
