Join us as we kick off our Black History Month festivities with local artist Jermaine Burse.
The day will start with an open gallery of his works from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. We will end the day at 6 p..m. with a reception, light bites, and a Q & A. Black winemaker and owner, Justin Michelle Trabue of Ward Four Wines will pour tastes from her selection of wines during the reception.
Jermaine Burse is a self-taught artist whose work is on display at various San Francisco art galleries, Thelma Harris Fine Art Gallery in Oakland, Kaiser Permanente’s executive suites, and wineries throughout Napa Valley. Jermaine’s work has recently been procured by several NBA and film stars, including Steph Curry and Robert De Niro. Jermaine has recently published a book titled Autopsy of My Former Self: A Journey Through Grief, Addiction, Redemption and Purpose, which he will discuss and raffle a few copies.
