Ali Blum is a Bay Area artist. Her series, “Nature Makes a Comeback” represents the optimism Blum holds in the healing power and magic of the planet.

Folktales and myths have also been integral to her understanding of the world. Hybrid creatures have blended with mythological images of her childhood and manifest in her work. They represent hope, growth, and the unknown. She works with acrylic, gouache, screen printing, stamping, hand drawn elements and ink.
