Beth Arnold started her journey in the artworld as a young girl. With her Mom by her side, she learned to sew. Girl Scouts introduced her to knitting.
She had the opportunity to draw from live models and began oil painting while in college. Counted cross stitch, embroidery, felting all followed. A medical diagnosis, which impaired her fine motor skills, led her to discover techniques which allowed her to use materials she had from past endeavors. Using photos from past travels and her collection of “treasures”, she has created a series of work called “Botanical Tapestries: the Soul of the Flower”.
