Listen to the music of the Pavone String Quartet, Music in the Vineyard’s 2025 Fellowship String Quartet.

Pavone String Quartet is an emerging ensemble based at Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music in Houston, Texas.

This year marks the eighth year of Music in the Vineyards’ Fellowship String Quartet Program, designed to identify and nurture an emerging pre-professional ensemble. The Pavone String Quartet, chosen by national audition, joins Music in the Vineyards' roster of professional musicians this August—including the Borromeo and Pacifica Quartets—for three weeks of intensive mentoring and performances alongside seasoned artists.
