Make a difference in someone's life and help an adult learner improve their reading and writing skills!

In this two-day training you will develop strategies for effectively teach and engage adults, including incorporating active learning, individual instruction, and real-world application.

This class emphasizes understanding adult learning principles, communications skills and techniques for addressing diverse learning needs. To be an adult literacy volunteer, you don't need to be a former teacher; we'll provide the necessary training. What you mainly need are strong basic skills and a desire to help others.
